IT IS MARCH AND I AM SITTING ALONE AT A THAI FOOD RESTAURANT is prose entangled in over-watered houseplants—a love story that twists to stretch its mouth toward its tail to create an aching infinity. Harris draws a circle in the dirt with the sharp end of a feather—gently inhaling the dust in intimacy’s wake, tracing its sunrise and sunset, its cold and warm seasons.

BREA HARRIS is a poet currently homesteading in Hamtramck. She is also the author of This is About the End of the World (Intersectional Press). If she isn’t writing she is either making you a latte or teaching her toddler how to live in this world through books and lots and lots of flowers.
PATRICIA MURPHY is a multi-disciplinary artist. Their work focuses on the need to understand what can’t be understood. They play with poems and artworks as possibility portals for free association. They currently teach visual art at a public middle school in Brooklyn, New York but the Cincinnati, Ohio and Northern Kentucky area is their home base.
