Island Weather – Chelsea Tadeyeske

Island Weather, written in its entirety throughout April 2022 as part of Gamlí Skolí’s artist residency on Hrísey Island, Iceland, is an exercise in mystic, moody ritual. Tadeyeske examines the body cut open by rock, illuminated by sunshine and soaked in ocean—attempting to trace the impressions and reverberations of place in memory, viscera and the collective experience of loneliness.

ANNA TESAROVA was born in the Czech mountains which has formed her and her art. She’s a multimedia artist exploring the connection between personal mythology and the surrounding environments. She loves to travel to explore places & pieces of her heart. Drawing is her favorite medium to express the symbolism of everydayness. Cats, bones, skulls and music are also her favorites.
