DUETDUET (vol 8) features eight poems from Claire Rychlewski and five poems by Dylan Krieger, right side up or upside down depending on how you hold them. These pieces are black on black––but will illuminate if you tilt them at certain angles. Rychlewski & Krieger conjure that familiar ache in the sternum from atop an erotic soapbox, become the wives of a dust-ridden climate. With this duet, we wake “up like a dog/growling at my reflection”, we morph into the “claw machine of eternal cocktease’”, we see what happens when two dark clouds meet.
